Near the village of Argentat and the Dordogne river, the property is beneficially located near fields, beside a chestnut grove as well as near a large pond. The house dates back to the 18th Century. It is a traditional Correzian stone house with a “Lauze” roofing stone and a very large fireplace called a “Cantou”.
The dining room and the living room allow all of the guests to gather together. As in all Correzian rural homes, one enters the house directly into the principle room. A very large table with its two benches can comfortably fit up to 12 guests. The “Cantou”, a very large fireplace is in fact a room within a room. Chesterfields and benches allow one to be close to the roaring fire. During the appropriate season, roasted chestnuts show off all their flavours. Directly connected to the dining room, the living room offers leasure and relaxation.
On the second floor there are 4 comfortable bedrooms. Two rooms that have double beds (Queensize), two rooms with two single beds. These rooms are comfortably furnished with flower themes such as: coquelicot, tilleul, bleuet, jonquille.
The fully equipped kitchen opens directly into the dining room. The kitchen has all the comfort of a modern kitchen, glass ceramic elements, grease and particle ventilator, multifunction oven with pyrolyse cleaning system, refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, all kitchen utensils provided.
There are two washrooms and two independent water closets. The upstairs washroom contains two integrated wash basins, a bathtup and a shower. The groundfloor washrooms have two integrated washbasins and a shower. Independent water closets on the ground floor and upstairs.
The ground floor includes the dining room, the living room, the kitchen, the washroom and the independent water closet. The First Floor has 4 rooms and an independent water closet.
