A choice of three self-catering gite apartments arranged around a traditionally built farmhouse dating back to the 16th. century. We offer quality accommodation at affordable prices for couples, families and large groups of friends. All amenities are offered to ensure your stay with us is as stress-free as possible. The buildings are all built from locally mined tuffeau stone, creamy in colour and cool in summer, while warm in the colder months. All floors are tiled or parquet in the main living areas, but carpeted in the bedrooms.

The emphasis here at Le Chant d'Oiseau is on quality holidays reminiscent of those you had when you were young. Long, hot summer days, laughter and fun with the family, or chilling with a good book. Our area is mainly agricultural, with open countryside all around. Pine forests abound, as do more traditional and ancient forest hunting grounds.

The welcome we give to each and every one of our guests sets the benchmark for the rest of your stay. You're welcome to join us for twice-weekly table d'hotes, or we're more than happy to recommend fantastic local eateries. We organise wine tastings on site, as well as pizza evenings using our own wood-fired bread oven, or more traditional local fayre, again cooked in the bread oven - fouée! Delicious!

We have amassed a wealth of experience in our four years in this area and we're happy to recommend days out, places to visit both locally and further afield. We can even help find your own dream home in France, as we have good relations with quite a few local immobiliers, or estate agents!
