Cancellation policy: We require a non refundable deposit of 20% to hold reservations for 30 days, upon which, you need to have made up the 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due upon arrival, but if you prefer to pay by check ( instead of credit card) we need to receive a check at least 30 days prior to arrival. Our cancellation policy is thus: The initial 20% is non refundable ( unless for some reason we could not provide the villa --hurricanes etc. then we would refund it). The rest is refundable if you cancel more than 30 days prior to your reservation. If you cancel within the last 30 days prior to your reservation 50% is not refundable. ( The rest would be, if you were to have paid in advance). We also require a damage deposit. If you use a credit card you must agree to cover any undue damage or loss on your card. If you pay by check then we ask you for a check for $500 which we would only deposit in the case of undue damage. Otherwise ( which has, so far, always been the case) we just send you back your un deposited check, after a careful inspection by us. Our contract basically states that no illegal activity can be done in the villa ( drugs etc.) and that you understand that the pool is a deep one and that you are responsible to take care of your children around the pool area, an adult ( who can swim) must be with them at all times.
